This week’s freebie: science meets brush calligraphy set

Someone told me that I sounded waaay too happy when I went live last Wednesday and Friday for Brush & Brunch. (Brush & Brunch is what I call my Instagram live sessions dedicated to brush calligraphy, which I hold at 11 in the morning on Wednesdays and Fridays.) I’m not going to deny that I was giddy with this week’s theme for the brush calligraphy worksheets because it’s all about scientists 🙂

The first seven scientists in the set are actually the sections that we had in high school. That’s why I sounded waaay too happy while I was writing these names, because: QueSci reprezzzent!

Life as we know it has come to a halt and we are relying on scientists now more than ever. I just felt that it was apt to sort of give tribute to the men and women of science, through these practice sheets. Writing names is also an easy way for me to come up with sets that have a capital letters in the exemplars, so here we are.

As usual, these worksheets are FREE for download and may be printed on 8.5 x 11-inch or A4 paper. I’d STRONGLY recommend that you practice with a soft brush, as that is the brush that I mostly use when writing, so that will work well with the style that can be seen in these sheets. I worked on this set with ProCreate and I used the brush calligraphy brush (the stock one hahaha, I know I should explore), with a 30% streamline. The PDF for this set may be downloaded below:

If you’re having trouble downloading the file, or if you have questions about how you can practice better with this particular sheet, do let me know. I’d love to hear your thoughts about this set.
